This course aligns with the latest UK legal and regulatory frameworks, including the Misuse of Drugs Act, Health and Social Care Act, and associated guidelines, ensuring compliance and patient safety. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge of controlled drug classification, storage, documentation, and administration.

Demonstrate how to establish which controlled drugs require safe custody

Understand the rules and recording requirements when a person self-medicates with a controlled drug
Demonstrate how to deal with stock discrepancies
